Candle Safety

  • Always Trim Your Wick

    Its important to always trim your wick before you light up your candle to avoid big flames, overheating and possible cracking of the vessel. No one wants a candle with a big flame!

  • Remove any flammable items:

    Always be aware of your candle when it comes to flammable irems around it. Make sure it's not close to anything that is flammable for example, furniture items, paper, plants etc. Avoid even any high or low temperature for example AC temperature, sun or window (especially if its windy.)

  • Don’t leave your candle lit on for too long!

    Make sure to have your candle lit on for 2-3 hours and not more to avoid overheating and tiring your candle.
    Natural soy wax and handmade vessels are unique and you need to make sure you take care of the candle!

  • Let your candle reach the edge!

    When you light your candle, allow the melted wax to reach the edge of the vessel which should take 2-3
    hours to avoid tunneling.
    Tunneling is when you don't let the top layer of the natural wax melt to the edge of the vessel and creates a
    tunnel, which we need to avoid.
